Post-Renovation Cleaning Checklist
1. Dust & Debris Removal
Remove construction dust from walls, ceilings, baseboards, and trim
Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors (multiple passes if needed)
Remove sawdust and fine particles from corners, vents, and behind appliances
Wipe down doors, frames, and handles
2. Detailed Surface Cleaning
Clean all countertops, shelves, and ledges
Wipe down cabinets (inside & out)
Remove smudges, fingerprints, and adhesive residue from surfaces
Clean and polish metal fixtures (handles, hinges, railings)
3. Window & Glass Cleaning
Wash windows (inside & outside, if accessible)
Remove stickers, paint splatters, and construction dust from glass
Clean mirrors and glass panels
Wipe down window sills, frames, and tracks
4. Kitchen Deep Clean
Clean and sanitize sinks and faucets
Wipe all appliances (outside, and inside if requested)
Clean backsplash, light switches, and electrical outlets
Remove dust from vents and exhaust fans
5. Bathroom Deep Clean
Scrub and disinfect toilets, tubs, showers, and sinks
Remove construction dust from tiles and grout
Polish mirrors and fixtures
Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including inside cabinets
6. Air Vent & Light Fixture Cleaning
Dust and wipe light fixtures, ceiling fans, and vents
Remove construction debris from HVAC registers
Replace air filters if required (optional service)
7. Floor Care
Vacuum carpets thoroughly (including edges and under furniture)
Mop hard floors with appropriate cleaners
Remove paint, caulk, or adhesive spots (where safe for the surface)
8. Final Touches
Remove and dispose of construction trash and packaging
Wipe down switches, thermostats, and outlet covers
Ensure property is fresh-smelling and move-in ready
